Summer 2018

  • Travel to Ireland June 5-10th to experience a different culture to enable self-growth and cultural competence.

  • Continue working at Fort Sanders Health and Fitness Center as an Exercise Physiologist. This allows me to work towards my mission of educating and engaging rural area citizens on physical activity and health education to redirect the trends of obesity, reduce the risk of disease, and to promote positive and continual lifestyle choices.

  • Acquire personal-training certification

  • Re-design youth fitness opportunities
  • Take the MCAT

Fall 2018

  • Apply to intern with Growing Leaders from mid-August December. This will allow me to enhance my leadership capability, grow, and enable others to act
  • Personal train individuals at a gym within the community to employ the education I received as a Kinesiology major at The University of Tennessee as well as to continue pursing my vision

Spring/Summer 2019

  • Express interest in re-visiting Vietnam and ensuring my final leadership project was sustainable.

  • If internship (pending) is not extended at growing leadership throughout the spring, I would like to discuss intern opportunities with the XLE group in Vietnam as well as will the Center for Sport, Peace, and Society at The University of Tennessee

Fall 2019

  •  Begin medical school in an area that places me outside of my comfort zone and fosters an environment for education that aligns with my core values of faith, family, education, health, and equality
  • Take on student-leadership roles, get involved in organizations/study groups, volunteer in my new community

Summer 2020

  • Participate in a medical mission trip
